Magnolia ‘Genie’ (PBR)

The magnificent flowers of this compact magnolia will add a bold shot of colour to the spring garden. Unfurling from furry buds in mid-spring, the deep raspberry petals form generously proportioned (up to 15cm across) flowers, which have a light perfume. They appear on the bare stems in generous number, so they look stunning when in full bloom, and will make a fantastic centrepiece to the spring flower display. Alternatively, as it is relatively compact, it can be kept it in a large pot if kept well fed and watered.
